About the role#
This internship places you within the Finance organization at Dow. You will work on projects that introduce you to global financial systems, procedures, and policies. Throughout the term, you will gain exposure to different business units and interact with Finance leaders. The role focuses on practical experience, allowing you to contribute to a global team while developing your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Execute, analyze, and oversee accounting systems within corporate contexts.
- Manage and utilize financial data as a resource.
- Monitor and control organizational risks through internal controls.
- Apply analytical thinking to collect facts and ensure accuracy in your work.
- Use Microsoft Excel to support financial tasks and data management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Finance, or Business Administration with an accounting emphasis.
- Ability to work legally in the United States. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A preference for candidates within one year of graduation (December 2027 or Spring 2028).
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and manage your time effectively.
