About the role#
This internship offers a hands-on look at the transportation, logistics, and warehouse operations at Dot Foods. You will work alongside our teams to learn how our business functions and how different departments interact. This is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2027 based in Vidalia, Georgia.
What you'll do#
- Train and job-shadow across departments to understand daily workflows and business needs.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, including research, data collection, and analysis.
- Participate in a team project with other interns.
- Review, update, and track various operational reports.
- Apply lean tools to identify and remove waste in your work area.
- Present your findings and recommendations at the end of the internship.
- Attend internal training events for business and professional development.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student in good standing at an accredited college or university.
- You hold a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- You are pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- You can manage multiple projects and priorities at once.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- You are able to work at least 350 hours during the summer.
- You can travel as needed for the role.
