About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Manchester, Tennessee, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site to gain professional experience within our warehouse and transportation operations. You must be able to complete a minimum of 350 hours during the internship. The role requires the ability to travel occasionally, and you must be able to travel by all modes of transportation without restriction.
What you'll do#
- Train and job-shadow across various departments to learn our workflows and business needs.
- Lead and take ownership of assigned individual projects.
- Participate in a team project alongside other interns.
- Define problems, collect data, and perform analysis to determine effective methods for problem-solving.
- Review, update, and track various operational reports.
- Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in your daily work.
- Present your project research, findings, and recommendations at the end of the internship.
- Attend business, company-specific, and personal development training events.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student in good standing at an accredited college or university.
- You have a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- You are pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- You can manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- You possess effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You have prior leadership experience.
