About the role#
As a Product Design Intern, you will join a core team to work on projects that impact consumers, merchants, and Dashers. You will participate in a 12-week summer internship program, working with a dedicated manager and a community of designers. This role focuses on driving projects from early exploration to shipped work.
What you'll do#
- Drive a real project from early explorations to polished, shipped work.
- Use AI throughout the design process to explore divergent directions and build prototypes.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, PMs, and researchers to identify opportunities and ensure high-quality implementation.
- Prototype concepts, test with real users, and ship improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in design or tech, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Digital Design, Industrial Design, or Computer Science.
- Expected graduation in Fall 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
- Portfolio showing strong design fundamentals including visuals, interaction design, and user-centered problem solving.
- Portfolio includes at least one case study showing application of AI in your work or a designed AI-powered experience.
- Available for a full-time internship over Summer 2027.
