Student Worker - Factory

About the role#

Dometic is seeking a Student Worker to join the production and warehouse team in Litchfield, Illinois. This is a rolling, full-time, paid position designed for students pursuing degrees in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. You will report to the Production and/or Warehouse Supervisor.

What you'll do#

• Assemble and package parts to fulfill customer orders.
• Pick and pack products using carts or at designated pack stations.
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and production operations.

What you'll need#

• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in assembly and order fulfillment.
• Time management skills to maintain productivity and meet deadlines.
• Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring materials, and verifying shipments.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift and move objects up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Capacity to identify and solve basic problems in assembly or packaging.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Basic computer literacy for using scanners and inventory systems.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
• Reliable transportation to the distribution center.
