About the role#
Dometic is seeking a Student Worker to join the production and warehouse team in Litchfield, Illinois. This is a rolling, full-time, paid position designed for students pursuing degrees in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. You will report to the Production and/or Warehouse Supervisor.
What you'll do#
- Assemble and package parts to fulfill customer orders.
- Pick and pack products using carts or at designated pack stations.
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and production operations.
What you'll need#
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in assembly and order fulfillment.
- Time management skills to maintain productivity and meet deadlines.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring materials, and verifying shipments.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift and move objects up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Capacity to identify and solve basic problems in assembly or packaging.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow safety guidelines.
- Basic computer literacy for using scanners and inventory systems.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
- Reliable transportation to the distribution center.
