    About the role#

    Dometic is seeking a Data Science Intern to join the Sales and Data Analytics team in Litchfield, Illinois. This project focuses on building a scalable market intelligence capability to support sales and marketing initiatives within the marine industry. You will capture, structure, and analyze dealer and inventory data to improve visibility into dealer behavior, inventory movement, and market demand.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop Python-based scraping and ingestion pipelines.
    • Engineer sell-through and inventory aging metrics.
    • Use SQL for data transformation and feature development.
    • Leverage Power Automate to trigger and monitor data pipelines.
    • Deliver analytical datasets into Power BI for stakeholder consumption.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science or Computer Science.
    • Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights clearly.
    • Technical curiosity, a willingness to experiment, and a drive for results.
    • Ownership mindset with the ability to work independently.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

    • Location: Litchfield, Illinois.
    • Term: Summer 2026 (June 1st through August 7th, 2026).
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Status: Full-time, paid internship.
