About the role#
This is a seasonal, full-time internship for Summer 2026 based in The Woodlands, Texas. You will focus on identifying new business opportunities, managing a sales funnel, and building client relationships. You will work alongside IT, software, and print specialists to cultivate leads and assist in closing deals.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply sales methods like cold calling, door-to-door sales, and presentations.
- Create and test new sales strategies to see what works best.
- Identify customer needs and build productive, long-term relationships.
- Meet individual and team sales goals.
- Research leads and keep in touch with potential clients.
- Attend training sessions and sales meetings to stay current on industry trends.
- Use financial and statistical data to provide feedback to management.
- Manage and expand a client database in your assigned territory.
- Run cost-benefit analyses to show the value of our equipment and software.
What you'll need#
- An outgoing personality and a desire to learn.
- Strong skills in prospecting and strategic planning.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- A High School Diploma or GED. Current enrollment in or completion of a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications is preferred.
- Knowledge of IT, software, or print solutions is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for travel within your territory.
