About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in San Antonio, Texas. You will focus on acquiring new business opportunities within a specific geographic region. The role involves managing a sales funnel from initial contact through to closing deals while working alongside IT, software, and print specialists. We are looking for students or graduates in Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics who are ready to take a proactive approach to sales.
What you'll do#
- Learn and use various sales methods, such as cold calling, door-to-door visits, and formal presentations.
- Create and test new sales strategies to see what works best.
- Identify customer needs and build productive, long-term relationships.
- Work toward individual and team sales goals.
- Research leads and keep in regular contact with potential clients.
- Join sales meetings, events, and training sessions.
- Use financial and statistical data to provide feedback to management.
- Manage and expand a client database for your assigned territory.
- Run cost-benefit analyses to show the value of our equipment and software.
What you'll need#
- An outgoing personality and a desire to learn.
- Strong skills in prospecting and strategic planning.
- Clear communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of IT, software, or print solutions is a plus.
Location & details#
- This role is located on-site in San Antonio, Texas.
- You must be able to travel within the assigned territory.
- The position requires the ability to sit for long periods, including time spent in a vehicle.
- You must be able to lift, carry, and transport materials weighing up to 25 lbs regularly.
