About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support the Finance team with day-to-day office and operational tasks. You will gain hands-on experience within a growing software company in the marine technology sector while assisting with hardware logistics, office management, and administrative projects.
What you'll do#
- Set up, troubleshoot, and configure customer printing equipment.
- Coordinate the shipping of hardware to marinas, partners, and events.
- Track and maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, including receiving and organizing stock.
- Receive, scan, and digitally distribute incoming mail to the appropriate teams.
- Monitor office supply levels, place orders as needed, and assist with general office upkeep.
- Support logistics for company events and assist the Finance team with additional projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Comfort with basic technology setup, such as printers, scanners, and shipping tools.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently with limited in-person supervision.
Location & details#
- Location: Newport, Rhode Island (On-site).
- Schedule: Part-time, 10 to 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
- Term: Rolling, with start and end dates determined by candidate availability.
- Compensation: Paid, commensurate with experience.
