About the role#
This IT Support Intern position offers hands-on experience with core technical support tasks. You will work directly with our team to handle end-user requests, manage workstation configurations, and maintain system access. This is a full-time, paid internship scheduled for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Monitor, review, and prioritize help desk requests.
- Provide one-on-one troubleshooting for end-users via telephone and email.
- Assist with the imaging, configuration, and deployment of new workstations.
- Reset passwords and unlock user accounts.
- Install approved software applications.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT staff members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Net+ or A+ certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience with ticket or phone support systems is a plus.
