About the role#
Dimensional Fund Advisors is hiring for a nine-week summer internship program in 2027. This role is a full-time, on-site position based in Austin, Texas. You will work alongside our technology department to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry.
What you'll do#
- Participate in in-depth learning sessions to build your technical knowledge.
- Solve challenging problems within an agile environment.
- Take ownership of a project that creates business value for the firm.
- Present your completed work to management, peers, and key stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or specialized master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Experience writing applications in at least one programming language.
- Practical knowledge of automated testing and version control.
- Familiarity with DevOps, database platforms, server infrastructure, or cybersecurity.
- Comfort working in both Linux and Windows environments.
- Previous experience working in an agile environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
