About the role#
This is a 9-week, full-time summer internship program for undergraduate and Master's students. You will join the Portfolio Management team to gain hands-on experience with the daily responsibilities of an Analyst. You will work on-site, supporting the strategy desks and contributing to the implementation of investment philosophies.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with Portfolio Managers to support daily desk operations.
- Lead projects focused on improving current investment strategies.
- Use data to develop and implement enhancements to our processes.
- Present your findings and project results to senior management.
- Collaborate with teams across Trading, Research, Technology, and Operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or specialized Master's degree program with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Strong quantitative, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Knowledge of databases like SQL and MS Access or Python is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Austin, Texas, or Charlotte, North Carolina.
- The internship takes place during the summer of 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
