About the role#
This position serves as a teaching assistant for the PSY-101 course under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Hawk. The role supports the HSS Department with course administration and grading.
What you'll do#
- Grade student assignments and coursework.
- Manage the Moodle course page, including the entry of grades.
- Assist the instructor with course-related tasks such as research.
- Complete additional assignments as necessary.
- Track and report all hours worked.
What you'll need#
- Must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Must have successfully passed PSY-101 with a grade of B or better.
- Maintain good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and no current academic warning status.
- Demonstrate flexibility with time management.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington. This is an on-site position, and workers must reside within the state of Washington.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 31 to December 18).
- Hours: 10 hours per week. Evenings and weekends may be required.
- Restrictions: Students are not permitted to work during any time they have a class scheduled, even if a class is canceled or ends early.
- Compensation: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, depending on the number of terms previously worked at DigiPen.
