About the role#
This position serves as a teaching assistant for the PSY-101 course in the HSS Department under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Hawk. The role involves supporting the instructor with administrative and course-related duties throughout the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Grade student assignments and coursework.
- Manage the Moodle course platform, including the entry of student grades.
- Assist the instructor with various course-related tasks and research.
- Complete additional assignments as needed.
- Track and report all hours worked.
What you'll need#
- Must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Must have successfully passed PSY-101 with a grade of B or better.
- Maintain good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and no current academic warning status.
- Demonstrate flexibility with time management.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Term: August 31, 2026, through December 18, 2026.
- Work schedule: 10 hours per week, with occasional requirements for evenings and weekends.
- Work modality: On-site. Students must reside within the State of Washington.
- Compensation: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, based on the number of terms worked at the institution.
- Note: Students are not permitted to work during any time they are scheduled for a class.
