    About the role#

    This position supports students in PRJ-3001 and PRJ-3051 cinematic projects. The role requires a passion for narrative storytelling and the ability to research and provide technical solutions tailored to individual team goals, whether in 2D or 3D environments. This is a paid, part-time, on-site role for current DigiPen students.

    What you'll do#

    • Support research and development for student projects.
    • Assist and guide teams through structured critiques.
    • Recommend and organize project timelines and deadlines.
    • Help teams navigate interpersonal dynamics and challenges.
    • Offer guidance on narrative decisions and support task organization.
    • Track and report hours worked.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
    • Experience in 3D or 2D animation, production pipelines, or character rigging.
    • Proficiency with Storyboard Pro.
    • Familiarity with task management software such as Notion, as well as Photoshop and 3D software.
    • Familiarity with DCC software (such as Maya or Blender) and visual effects.
    • Ability to maintain good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
    • Completion of PRJ-300, PRJ-350, PRJ-400, PRJ-3000, or PRJ-3050 with a grade of B or better.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Redmond, Washington, USA.
    • Term: August 31, 2026, to April 23, 2027.
    • Hours: 8 hours per week.
    • Schedule: Mondays 2:00 p.m. – 4:20 p.m. and Thursdays 2:00 p.m. – 5:50 p.m.
    • Work Modality: On-site; must reside within the state of Washington.
    • Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks requiring fine finger dexterity.
