About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student Teaching Assistant for MAT-106 for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, part-time position based on-site in Redmond, Washington. You will report to Alex McCurdy and assist fellow students with course material throughout the semester.
What you'll do#
- Attend all class and lab sessions, including Monday and Wednesday sessions from 2:00 to 3:20 p.m. and Friday sessions from 12:00 to 12:50 p.m.
- Support students during labs and scheduled office hours.
- Meet with students online when required.
- Track and report your work hours accurately.
- Work independently to help students understand course concepts.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current matriculated student at DigiPen in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- You have completed MAT-106, MAT-150, or a 200-level math course or higher with a grade of B or better.
- You possess a strong grasp of the course material and a willingness to help others succeed.
- You are a clear communicator who can interact with students on an instructional level.
- You are punctual, reliable, and able to focus during work hours.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington. You must reside in Washington to perform this work.
- Term: September 4, 2026, to December 11, 2026.
- Hours: 4 to 5 hours per week.
- Pay: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on your previous terms worked at DigiPen.
- Note: You cannot work during times when you are scheduled for a class.
