About the role#
This position is for a Student Teaching Assistant for GAM-100, reporting to Andy Ellinger for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, part-time role requiring 3 to 5 hours of work per week. Applicants must be currently matriculated students at DigiPen Institute of Technology, reside within the State of Washington, and have previously passed the GAM-100 course. Candidates should be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, though academic waivers may be requested for exceptional candidates.
What you'll do#
- Assist students during lab sessions and office hours.
- Grade student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Facilitate student presentations and offer professional critique.
- Maintain regular contact with assigned student teams.
- Support the instructor with classroom operations, such as equipment setup and attendance tracking.
- Meet weekly with the instructor to discuss performance and duties.

Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington (On-site).
- Term: August 31, 2026, to December 15, 2026.
- Lab Sections: Friday 9:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. or Friday 3:30 p.m. to 6:20 p.m.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks involving sitting, walking, and standing.
