About the role#
This position is a Student Teaching Assistant role for the GAM-100 course during the Fall 2026 term. The role requires 3-5 hours of work per week and involves supporting the instructor and students during lab sessions and office hours. Applicants must be currently matriculated students at DigiPen Institute of Technology and must have previously passed the GAM-100 course. Students are not permitted to work during any time they have a scheduled class.
What you'll do#
- Assist students during lab sessions and office hours.
- Grade student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Facilitate student presentations and provide professional critique.
- Maintain contact with assigned student teams.
- Support the instructor with classroom operations, including equipment setup and attendance tracking.
- Meet weekly with the instructor for performance feedback.
What you'll need#

- Comfort interacting with other students in a mentorship capacity.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to the success of fellow students.
- Ability to work independently.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and good academic standing.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington. This is an on-site position. Workers must reside within the State of Washington.
- Term: August 31, 2026, to December 15, 2026.
- Compensation: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, depending on the number of terms worked at DigiPen.
