About the role#
This position supports the CG-2001 3D Digital Art course during the Fall 2026 term. You will work directly with the instructor to assist students with 3D art workflows, software, and class assignments. This is a paid, on-site student position for currently matriculated DigiPen students.
What you'll do#
- Attend the scheduled CG-2001 class on Mondays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:50 p.m. to assist with lectures and lab activities.
- Host two scheduled TA sessions per week outside of class hours to provide extra student support.
- Help students troubleshoot technical issues and understand 3D modeling concepts.
- Provide weekly feedback to the instructor regarding student questions and common difficulties.
- Assist with classroom setup, including preparing equipment and materials.
What you'll need#
- Successful completion of CG-2001 or equivalent coursework with a grade of B or better.
- Proficiency in Maya and Substance 3D Painter.
- Ability to explain technical and artistic concepts clearly to peers.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliability in attending all scheduled class times and TA sessions.
- Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 31 to December 13).
- Commitment: 3 to 9 hours per week.
- Compensation: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on previous terms worked at DigiPen.
- Note: Students must reside in Washington state. You cannot work during times when you are scheduled for other classes.
