About the role#
This is a student Teaching Assistant position for ANI-3503 3D Animation III during the Fall 2026 term. The role requires 4 to 6 hours of work per week. Applicants must be currently matriculated students at DigiPen Institute of Technology and reside within the state of Washington.
What you'll do#
- Assist with classroom setup.
- Provide technical help and animation assistance to students on assignments and exercises.
- Support students in labs and during published office hours.
- Provide constructive, professional feedback and critiques to students.
- Track and report hours worked accurately.
- Collaborate with other teaching assistants and instructors.
What you'll need#
- Successful completion of ANI-350 or another 300-level CG Animation class with a grade of B+ or higher.
- Strong working knowledge and expertise in Maya animation tools and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide professional feedback.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to mentor fellow students.
- Ability to work independently.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and good academic standing.

- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Term: August 31, 2026, to December 11, 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, depending on previous terms worked at DigiPen.
- Note: Students may not work during any time they have a class scheduled.
