About the role#
Dewberry is hiring a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for our Denver office for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time internship provides hands-on project experience where you will apply your classroom knowledge to real-world engineering tasks. You will work alongside our staff on projects similar to those handled by our full-time engineers.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design of water collection, storage, and distribution systems.
- Support the design of water treatment and wastewater collection systems.
- Conduct alternative technology evaluations.
- Perform hydraulic modeling and prepare technical memoranda.
- Develop design calculations and project specifications.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a B.S. degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Previous internship experience in a related field is preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

- Compensation: $18.75 to $29.75 per hour.
