About the role#
Dewberry is hiring a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in our Boston office. You will work on projects similar to those handled by our full-time staff and participate in workshops, networking events, and a summer-long group project.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design of water collection, storage, distribution, and treatment systems.
- Help design wastewater collection and transmission systems.
- Conduct alternative technology evaluations.
- Perform hydraulic modeling and prepare design calculations.
- Draft technical memoranda and project specifications.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- You should be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.
- A working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

- Compensation: $18.75 to $29.75 per hour.
