About the role#
Dewberry is looking for a Transportation Engineering Intern to join our Orlando office for the Summer 2027 term. This position provides hands-on project experience where you will apply your classroom knowledge to real-world transportation projects. You will work alongside our team of professionals on a variety of tasks for local and national clients.
What you'll do#
- Develop and evaluate engineering solutions.
- Prepare design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, and drawings.
- Assist with various studies and document the results.
- Write internal communications.
- Adhere to assigned project schedules and budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A desire to work in a team environment.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Experience with CADD software like MicroStation or AutoCAD is a plus.
