About the role#
Dewberry is hiring a Transportation Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. Based in Raleigh, this role offers exposure to various disciplines including roadway, structural, and drainage design, as well as traffic engineering and transportation planning. You will receive a tailored training program and work alongside professionals on project tasks. A housing stipend may be available for eligible candidates.
What you'll do#
- Develop and evaluate engineering solutions.
- Prepare design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, and drawings.
- Assist with studies and document results.
- Write internal communications.
- Follow assigned project schedules and budgets.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with a transportation emphasis.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- A desire to work in a team environment.
- Experience with CADD software like Microstation or AutoCAD is preferred.
