About the role#
Dewberry is looking for a Telecom/Civil Engineering Intern to join our Telecommunications Department in Orlando, Florida, for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position that provides hands-on experience through project work, professional development workshops, and networking events. Interns work on assignments similar to those handled by full-time staff and participate in a summer-long group project.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers in preparing construction and permitting documents for technology, telecommunication, and EV projects.
- Conduct field work to collect data for design preparation.
- Perform construction inspections of completed installations.
- Prepare reports for project closeout packages.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. program for Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoCAD 3D, or HydroCAD.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A desire to work in a team environment.
- Previous internship experience is a plus.
