About the role#
Dewberry is hiring an Environmental Scientist Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work in our Richmond, Virginia office alongside environmental professionals. This internship focuses on applying your academic background to real projects. You will participate in workshops, networking events, and a summer-long group project.
What you'll do#
- Assist staff with natural resource inventory and analysis.
- Perform wetland delineation tasks.
- Help with permitting and mitigation processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Richmond, Virginia.
- The pay range is $18.75 to $29.75 per hour.
- We do not provide sponsorship for work authorization.
