About the role#
Dewberry is looking for an Architecture Intern to join our team in Danville, Virginia, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work under the supervision of a project architect or manager. We provide specific and detailed instructions for your tasks. We expect you to take initiative, research work efforts, and know when to ask for help. A housing stipend may be provided to eligible candidates.
What you'll do#
- Produce construction documents, including materials research and detail development.
- Assist designers and project architects with conceptual design.
- Perform code analysis on assigned projects.
- Help with construction phase shop drawing reviews.
- Assemble requests for proposals, change orders, and closeout documentation.
- Assist the project architect with preliminary specifications, material selection, and product research.
- Support the development of production standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Architecture degree program.
- A strong understanding of CADD, REVIT, and Adobe Suite.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Prior internship experience is a plus.

- Compensation: $18.75 to $29.75 per hour.
