About the role#
The Desjardins Group Security Office (DGSO) is seeking interns for the Fall 2026 term to support cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and information protection initiatives. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity designed for students to contribute to projects, learn from security professionals, and develop technical and analytical skills in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Support operational security by applying knowledge of risk analysis, vulnerability assessment, and threat monitoring, including the integration of controls into IT projects.
- Assist with physical security audits by monitoring discrepancies, assessing security measures and continuity plans, and drafting governance documentation.
- Provide guidance to business sectors regarding personal information protection.
- Conduct legal research on cybersecurity laws and regulations, analyze security clauses in contracts, and assist in preparing legal files.
- Contribute to the development of security practices that align with organizational and regulatory requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Data Science.
- Requirement that your educational institution credits or certifies this internship toward your degree.
- Relevant prior work or internship experience.
- Proficiency in French.
