About the role#
Desjardins is seeking interns for the Fall 2026 term to support our data strategy. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to maximize the value of our data, enhance the member and client experience, and contribute to our goals in data valorization, security, and governance.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to deepen our understanding of members and clients and support strategic decision-making.
- Create visual reports and provide recommendations for internal partners.
- Design, develop, deploy, and monitor machine learning and AI systems.
- Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for machine learning models.
- Develop and maintain APIs and SDKs to expose analytical models for production use.
- Assist data governance advisors in classifying metadata according to current data architecture frameworks in a secure environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline, where the internship is credited or certified by your institution.
- Proficiency in French.
- Experience in software development, specifically object-oriented programming for machine learning operations.
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and development frameworks like Keras, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
