About the role#
Desjardins is seeking interns for the Fall 2026 term to join IT squads in Montréal and Lévis. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity within the banking industry. Interns will work in a hybrid capacity to support various IT functions, including development, project management, business analysis, and system administration.
What you'll do#
- Actively participate in the development of production strategies.
- Contribute to quality assurance by identifying test scenarios, setting up environments, and performing tests.
- Support all phases of project delivery, from initial planning to final execution.
- Analyze issues, conduct research, and develop outlines for tools and working processes.
- Assist system administrators in the configuration, maintenance, and upgrading of computer networks and servers.
- Support team members in areas such as scrum coordination, functional analysis, IT governance, and infrastructure security.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Data Science, or Mathematics.
- Your educational institution must credit or certify the internship toward your degree.
- Relevant work or internship experience.
- Proficiency in French is required.
