About the role#
The Church News social media intern works with our marketing team to grow our communities across multiple platforms. You will manage our English-language social media presence and build relationships with our readers. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Salt Lake City for the Fall 2026 term. The role lasts between 3 and 6 months depending on your availability.
What you'll do#
- Manage social media accounts for Church News.
- Create and implement marketing campaigns.
- Monitor analytics to identify trends and opportunities.
- Research industry trends and provide competitive analysis.
- Create visual assets using Adobe InDesign.
- Develop strategies to grow our audience.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or Journalism.
- Ability to work on-site in Salt Lake City.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign for asset creation.
- Experience or interest in managing social media communities.
- Ability to analyze data to inform marketing decisions.
