About the role#
This internship supports a pilot initiative that applies AI tools to clinical data analysis workflows. You will help the team evaluate the feasibility and operational impact of these tools before a broader rollout. This is a learning-oriented position for someone building skills in quantitative methods, clinical data science, and the application of large language models in a production context.
What you'll do#
- Execute pre-defined AI workflow runs on schedule.
- Track and log run outputs, errors, and completion status.
- Organize and maintain documentation of pilot activities and results.
- Flag anomalies or inconsistencies in workflow outputs to the pilot lead.
- Perform basic data checks and formatting before workflow execution.
- Assist with compiling summary status updates for the pilot team.
- Follow established work instructions and escalate deviations.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Basic programming proficiency in Python or R to run and troubleshoot existing scripts.
- A basic understanding of quantitative and statistical concepts.
- Comfort following detailed instructions and working under close supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability in repetitive task execution.

- Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- Sponsorship is not provided for this role.
- Pay is $22.11 per hour for BA/BS students.
- Interns living more than 50 miles away are eligible for a housing stipend.
