About the role#
The NextGen Sales Academy (NGSA) internship is designed to prepare you for a long-term career within the Dell Technologies sales organization. You will gain exposure to the sales and technology industry through hands-on experience, training, and collaboration with various internal teams. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Complete a 2-3 week training period focused on the storage portfolio.
- Receive ongoing coaching on products, sales cycles, prospecting, qualifying, and customer communication.
- Talk to customers and qualify opportunities to drive revenue.
- Shadow management, inside sales representatives, field teams, renewals, and development teams.
- Participate in white board and group messaging competitions.
- Meet daily or weekly call metrics.
- Compete in Intern Olympics and complete an end of summer capstone project.
What you'll need#
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Interest in a sales career within the technology industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable, confident, and coachable work ethic.
- Ability to influence others and drive issues to closure.

- Locations: Hopkinton, Massachusetts and Round Rock, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $16.70 - $23.20 per hour depending on location.
- Term: Rolling.
