About the role#
Join the business development team to research and frame the strategic, commercial, and regulatory landscape for a potential new international market expansion. You will synthesize complex dynamics into a clear, decision-ready playbook that leadership can use to weigh options.
What you'll do#
- Map the market opportunity, including demand drivers, local manufacturing trends, and evolving industry standards.
- Analyze business and manufacturing constraints within the target region.
- Catalog the structural options companies use to navigate these dynamics.
- Produce a concise playbook outlining viable strategic paths, open questions, and a clear view of risks and rewards.
- Identify, analyze, and report industry and market trends using diverse data sources.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, and structured reporting.
- Introduce new AI-enabled approaches to improve how the company plans and makes decisions.
- Deliver analysis and recommendations that are actionable and influential for business leaders and executives.
What you'll need#
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Cognitive Science.
- Foundational understanding and proficiency with mainstream and emerging AI-enabled business tools.
- Experience with technical market analysis, customer-oriented thinking, and business planning.
- Strong interest in the AI infrastructure and technology markets.
- Hands-on experience with engineering, building, or working with computer or technology hardware.
- Demonstrated ability to apply AI tools in innovative ways.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in San Jose, California.
- The term runs from May to August 2027.
