This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026 within the Legacy Business Unit. You will collaborate with production and methods engineering to design mobile carts for storing exterior and interior aircraft protection materials. The goal is to develop standardized, efficient, and organized storage solutions to support production workflows.
What you'll do#
- Develop an understanding of the aircraft protection process.
- Apply design engineering principles to create functional storage solutions.
- Propose and refine processes to improve the efficiency of aircraft protection workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or postgraduate program (sophomore status or higher) in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or a related engineering field.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks or CATIA V5.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present new concepts clearly.
- Must reside in the United States.
