About the role#

This internship provides an opportunity to work within the aviation and aerospace component manufacturing sector. Interns will work under supervision to support structural repair solutions and aircraft modifications, ensuring compliance with FAA and EASA requirements. The role involves direct coordination with Falcon operators, repair centers, and internal departments such as Spares, Technical Support, and Programs.

What you'll do#

• Produce structural repair solutions and modifications for wings, fuselage, skins, fairings, control surfaces, and structural attachments.
• Apply standard techniques and procedures to propose dispositions supported by data and technical justifications.
• Act as a primary interface with customers to support the implementation of approved repairs and modifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams to manage customer structural repair projects efficiently.
• Travel as necessary to support Service Centers and perform hangar or ramp visits.

What you'll need#

• BS degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience supporting technical aspects of an aircraft.
• Strong professional communication skills, both oral and written.
• Basic project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with PC and CAD drawing software.
• Academic knowledge of Finite Element/3D Modeling using CATIA is a plus.
• Ability to lift ten pounds and access all aircraft structural areas, including using stands, ladders, or stairs.
