    About the role#

    This internship focuses on 5S and hangar-floor Lean initiatives within MLB Operations. You will apply Industrial Engineering principles to improve operational efficiency and workflow within the facility.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform hangar-floor observations and document workflow inefficiencies using tools such as 5S audits, spaghetti diagrams, and time/travel observations.
    • Develop floor plan and point-of-use (POU) recommendations to reduce travel, searching, and staging constraints.
    • Support the implementation of visual management and 5S improvements.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a university program, specifically in Industrial Engineering.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to be creative and make sound judgments while working independently on multiple projects.
