About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering care to patients, managing pharmacy operations, and contributing to a positive team culture. This is a part-time position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to each patient with empathy and compassion.
- Manage patient safety and pharmacy professional practice.
- Oversee inventory and workflow management.
- Promote a team culture centered on caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Current intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
