About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your academic learning to real-world practice. Working under the direction of a preceptor, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap designed to provide hands-on experience in pharmacy operations. This role prepares you for future responsibilities as a Pharmacist by offering exposure to store, district, and regional workflows.
What you'll do#
- Support pharmacy operations by assisting the pharmacy team with daily tasks.
- Follow company standard operating procedures to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by demonstrating empathy and providing caring service.
- Deliver additional patient health care services, such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, where permitted by law.
- Complete a structured training roadmap to build clinical and technical aptitude.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into or active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including availability for nights and weekends.
- Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.

- This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term.
