About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health in Summit, New Jersey, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role focuses on maintaining a safe and effective pharmacy environment while gaining hands-on experience in patient care. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient care programs to support health outcomes.
- Advise patients on prescriptions and the management of chronic conditions.
- Assist with inventory and pharmacy workflow management.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
