About the role#
As a pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will help deliver our purpose and model our values by providing care to patients. This role is part-time and involves working within a retail pharmacy environment to support daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment.
- Manage inventory and pharmacy workflow, excluding final prescription verification.
- Support patient care programs and quality assurance.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver positive health outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, reach overhead, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Capability to perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and close visual acuity.
- Availability to work a regular schedule, including nights and weekends.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
