About the role#
The Social Media & Marketing Intern will support the corporate operations team in managing branding and marketing efforts for Curry Up Now and Mortar & Pestle Bar. This role focuses on executing campaigns, maintaining brand consistency, and supporting administrative marketing tasks across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design and execution of social media and email campaigns.
- Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands.
- Develop and distribute content including blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases.
- Create compelling graphics and write captions for social media channels.
- Respond to comments and direct messages on social media platforms.
- Track social media engagement to identify and scale high-performing ideas.
- Support photo and video content shoots and assist with influencer campaign strategies.
- Maintain administrative support for menus, point of sale systems, and guest reviews.
What you'll need#
- Background in Marketing or Administration, with 1-3 years of relevant experience in Marketing and Branding.
- Demonstrated success in creative planning and social media strategy.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Squarespace, Google Drive, and Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship based in Burlingame, California.
- Candidates must live in the Bay Area and be able to commute daily to the headquarters or local restaurants.
- The role may require travel to corporate-owned or franchise restaurants up to 65% of the time.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings may be required.
