This engineering service position focuses on developing and maintaining the information technologies, functional excellence, and product change management systems that enable engineering practitioners to work efficiently. You will support processes such as Engineering Standard Work (ESW), Value Package Introduction (VPI), and the management of data repositories and technical information libraries.
What you'll do#
- Apply technical information and knowledge-based activities to fulfill work requests according to standardized policies and procedures.
- Own problem resolution for moderately complex components, products, systems, or services.
- Independently execute established work processes while engaging in the improvement of systems.
- Negotiate with technical practitioners to deliver high-quality processes, tools, drawings, and specifications.
- Contribute to team goals and exhibit influence within a work group while developing technical and product knowledge.
- Coordinate work among technicians or temporary student employees as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 is preferred.
- Ability to commit to a 4-month to 12-month program.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Proficiency in request fulfillment, service level management, solution assessment, requirements elicitation, and knowledge management.
- Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, collaboration, and communication skills.
- A willingness to learn from others on the job.

- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Monthly Salary Range: Bachelor's ($4,000 - $4,900), Master's ($6,000), PhD ($7,000).
