Integrated Supply Chain Summer Internship Positions

About the role#

This summer internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the Integrated Supply Chain function at Cummins Inc. Interns will support core manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, quality, or facilities operations, contributing to real-world projects and process improvements.

What you'll do#

• Assist with the planning, design, and implementation of integrated manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication processes.
• Plan and maintain daily supply chain operations, including materials, production, inventory, logistics, and demand management.
• Provide support for purchasing system strategy, including e-sourcing and catalog management.
• Apply product quality planning and control principles to support manufacturing and installation operations.
• Monitor the functioning of building systems, including electrical, HVAC, and fire/life safety, and oversee facility renovation projects.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or Industrial Engineering.
• A minimum GPA of 2.5 is preferred.
• Ability to commit to 40 hours per week for a duration of 4 to 12 months.
• Must currently reside within the continental U.S.
• Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills with a focus on customer needs.
