About the role#
CSM Group is looking for a Data AI Intern to support our growing initiatives in business intelligence, data analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence. This role offers the chance to work with real construction and business data while contributing to projects that improve operational performance and decision-making. You will work alongside Project Controls and other internal teams to transform data into insights and evaluate emerging technologies.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Collect, clean, organize, and analyze data from various business systems.
- Support AI initiatives through research, testing, and evaluation of new tools.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy.
- Help document reporting processes, calculations, and data definitions.
- Identify repetitive tasks that may benefit from automation to improve efficiency.
- Assist with pilot programs that explore practical AI applications.
- Work with stakeholders to translate business questions into meaningful analyses.
- Present project updates, findings, and completed work to team members and leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and business processes.
