About the role#
As an Agronomy Intern at Crop Quest, you will work with farmers to support their crop production goals. You will collaborate with our team of agronomists and precision agriculture specialists to provide unbiased service and recommendations that prioritize a return on investment.
What you'll do#
- Monitor fields for insects, weeds, and diseases while using imagery tools.
- Develop recommendations for seed, fertilizer, and agricultural chemicals.
- Assist with crop planning, including rotation, budgeting, fertility management, and yield analysis.
- Manage water resources through irrigation scheduling and soil moisture monitoring.
- Use geo-referenced software to record field data.
- Perform grid and zone sampling using soil texture, pH, organic matter, and elevation data.
- Create variable rate recommendations.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field.
- A valid driver’s license.

- This is an on-site, full-time internship with a rolling term.
