About the role#
CAA ICON is looking for an intern to support our project field teams and office operations. You will assist with daily project management tasks, coordinate team schedules, and gain exposure to the construction and development process for sports and entertainment facilities. This is a full-time, hands-on opportunity designed to provide professional experience through project-based work.
What you'll do#
- Handle daily administrative needs like mailing, scanning, and maintaining tracking logs.
- Manage the master project calendar, meeting invites, and conference call lines.
- Attend meetings to take notes and document minutes.
- Assist with budget monitoring, forecasting costs, and tracking actual expenditures.
- Help with contract administration, document control, and processing RFIs.
- Review and prepare Purchase Orders and Change Orders.
- Navigate and markup architectural building drawings.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and staff.
- Support site visits by capturing photographs and leading tours.
- Assist with planning special projects and events.
- Complete a capstone project and final presentation at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date in Spring, Summer, or Winter 2027, or Spring or Summer 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience with Bluebeam is required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Compensation: $19.84 to $33.00 per hour.
