About the role#
The FinOps Analyst Intern will support the Financial Operations team in managing and optimizing cloud costs, analyzing financial data, and assisting with process improvements. This role provides hands-on experience in cloud financial management, cost optimization strategies, and cross-functional collaboration between finance, engineering, and business teams.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and analyze cloud usage and spending patterns across Azure platforms.
- Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and summaries using Power BI and Excel.
- Maintain FinOps workflows, including tagging, anomaly detection, and cost allocation.
- Support monthly forecasting exercises and assist in preparing accrual summaries.
- Work with engineering and finance teams to align cloud spending with business objectives.
- Assist in automating repetitive tasks using FinOps tools and frameworks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in Power BI and analytical skills.
- Experience with cloud financial management.
- Strong collaboration skills and English fluency.
