The Design Engineer Co-op will work directly with the product engineering department at Crane Company. This role provides exposure to all design engineering activities within the organization, offering the opportunity to contribute to both new product development and the maintenance of the existing product portfolio under the mentorship of a senior engineer.
What you'll do#
- Develop new product designs.
- Support sustaining engineering efforts for the existing product portfolio.
- Create and maintain bills of material.
- Manage design data records, including 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings.
- Document laboratory testing results and technical specifications.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, or Electrical Engineering program.
- Experience working with 3D CAD models.
- Ability to create and maintain technical specifications.
- Familiarity with manufacturing drawings.
- Understanding of laboratory testing results.
