About the role#
The 2027 Summer Sales Internship at Cottingham & Butler is a 10-week, full-time, paid program designed to immerse participants in the insurance brokerage sales process. Interns gain hands-on experience through mentorship, training, and direct involvement in sales activities.
What you'll do#
- Cold call potential clients to introduce services and identify insurance needs.
- Attend client meetings with experienced sales professionals to observe and participate in discussions.
- Research market trends and competitor activities to build industry knowledge.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement tailored sales strategies.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops focused on sales skills and product knowledge.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- A documented history of academic or extracurricular excellence.
- While relevant majors include Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, and Finance, all academic backgrounds are welcome.
