About the role#
The 2027 Summer Sales Internship at Cottingham & Butler is a 10-week, full-time, paid program designed to immerse students in the insurance brokerage industry. This role focuses on developing sales skills through hands-on experience, mentorship, and direct involvement in the sales process. Interns are expected to be self-motivated and eager to learn in a team-oriented environment.
What you'll do#
- Cold call potential clients to introduce services and identify insurance needs.
- Attend client meetings with experienced sales professionals to observe and participate in discussions.
- Research market trends, competitor activities, and industry opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement tailored sales strategies.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
