About the role#
The 2027 Summer Claims Adjuster Internship is a 10-week, full-time, paid program based in Dubuque, Iowa. This internship provides hands-on experience in the insurance industry, focusing on client service and claims management. Interns will work with a variety of professionals, including attorneys, providers, and executives, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the field.
What you'll do#
- Manage client claims by investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling cases.
- Build and maintain client relationships through timely communication and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team members to identify client challenges and develop strategic solutions.
- Participate in networking events and social activities with industry professionals and fellow interns.
What you'll need#
