About the role#
This internship provides hands-on exposure to accounting and business processes within the construction industry. You will work under direct supervision to support our finance team while gaining experience in real-world operations. You will be paired with a mentor for regular check-ins and will finish your term by presenting a capstone project to company leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support our safety culture and follow company core values and policies.
- Help with month end and quarterly closings, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Assist with accounts receivable, payable, and bank statement reconciliations.
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Enter data into accounting systems like JD Edwards, Citrix/HeavyJob, ADRA, OnBase, and Anaplan.
- Handle general accounting tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration degree program.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
- A valid driver license and clean driving history is preferred.
- Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds.
- Comfort with occasional travel, which may include overnight stays.
